The New Zealand Productivity Commission – an independent Crown entity – called for an in-depth inquiry into the issue of New Zealand’s transition to a low-emission economy and how it can meet its Paris agreement targets.
HERA, as the industry research association of the heavy metals-based fabrication and manufacturing industry, is primarily engaged in the path to a low-emission economy by assisting industry in developing opportunities for emission reductions across different emitting sources, technologies and processes.
We responded to this request and answered key questions to topics, which we felt we can contribute to with confidence due to our daily work as an industry research association.
The submission will be published on the Productivity Commission website and you can also download it here.
