We want to revolutionise how we monitor and evaluate structural systems harnessing advanced technologies and innovative approaches. This facility aims to provide engineers with access to these powerful tools, as well as our expertise in this space, to enhance building performance analysis and develop cost-effective monitoring strategies for their project.
Our program has two key objectives:
- to enable more accurate and objective monitoring of structural systems through the integration of in-situ data and advanced numerical models, and
- to create optimal instrumentation plans that maximise information while minimising costs.
With these tools, engineers will gain critical insights into the performance of structural systems, helping to ensure safer, more efficient buildings that meet design expectations.
