monitoring 4.0
Tufts University USA
Professor Civil and Environmental Engineering
Iโm dedicated to advancing structural health monitoring and damage identification through cutting-edge research in Bayesian inference, earthquake engineering, and uncertainty quantification.
Iโm based in Amerika โ Massachusetts USA
I am a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
I earned my Ph.D. in structural engineering from the University of California, San Diego, in 2007.
My primary research interests include Bayesian inference and inverse problems, structural health monitoring, system and damage identification of civil structures, structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, uncertainty quantification, and the verification and validation of computational models.
In the monitoring 4.0 theme we’re developing a framework for digital twinning of steel and RC buildings.
Just recently we had our kick-off meeting with the Construction 4.0 team at HERA House – joined by many of our team.
HERA has been successful in the 2022 round of funding for a four-year Construction 4.0 research project.
