Through my research, I aim to improve living conditions and health outcomes for at-risk communities.

I’m based in Te Papaioea, Palmerston North

My expertise lies at the intersection of building technology and public health.

I have led several intervention studies exploring the impact of domestic heaters, ventilation, and pollutant levels—such as mould, bacteria, chemicals, and moisture—in homes and classrooms.

My work is particularly focused on vulnerable communities, including low-income, Māori, and Pasifika populations, who experience a higher burden of disease.
