University of Waikato
Lecturer School of Engineering Teaching and Research
My research is on the topic of cold-formed steel member behaviour, and for this I apply a combination of full-scale laboratory testing, finite element analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
Iโm based in Kirikiriroa, Hamilton
I report in to James Lim
I am a Lecturer at the University of Waikato.
Here, I lecture ENGCV241, ENGCV 323, ENGCV352, and ENGEN508, supervise final year Capstone project students, supervise 17 ME students, 4 MEngPrac students, main-supervise/co-supervise 4 PhD students.
My journey in New Zealand began in Auckland in December 2019, my thesis submitted in June 2022, and since then I have been based at the University of Waikato closely working with Dr Krishanu Roy and Prof James Lim.
I am also part of the Cold-Formed Steel Research Group.
As the newest member of our Construction 4.0 project, Parsa is focused on research around AI in circular design.
