This case study report assesses the initiatives HERA has undertaken to achieve sustainable heavy engineering. It looked at our work in education, training, qualification and certification of personnel to both national and international standards, assisting companies to meet customer needs, research and development initiatives, technology transfer, and similar, in the context of the United Nations sustainable development goals.
