Fletcher Construction
Engineering Services & Innovation Manager
I believe strongly in the application of robust engineering controls, often through the application of experience and innovation, to drive better project outcomes on cost, quality, programme and most importantly H&S.
Iโm based in Tฤmaki Makaurau, Auckland
I joined Fletcher Construction in 2017 after returning from a 10-year stint in London.
Whilst in the UK I worked as a Principal Engineer providing temporary works design and construction method consulting for landmark UK projects such as The Shard, the London Bridge Station Redevelopment, and Birmingham New St Station.
My early career included project engineering roles on wharves, outfall pipelines, seawalls, bridges, and roads across New Zealand and the South Pacific.
In 2022, I was honoured to be appointed as a Fellow of Engineering New Zealand, in recognition of my contributions to service, education, and industry leadershipโespecially in establishing best practices for identifying, assessing, and controlling temporary works risk during design and delivery phases.
I have also served as a committee member of the New Zealand Society for Safety Engineering from 2020 to 2023, and from 2018 to 2020, and I was the inaugural Chair of the Temporary Works Forum (NZ).
We’re excited to introduce our newly elected Construction 4.0 Industry Advisory Group.
