My journey with John Jones Steel started back in 1975, when I took on high school holiday jobs doing general labouring, working in fabrication, welding, and site rigging.

I’ve now accumulated 40+ years of experience in commercial construction and design, both in New Zealand and the UK. Out of those, 36 years have been spent in the structural steel sector, where I’ve moved from shop detailing to roles in general management and as a Technical Director.
