Marketing and design are, to me, two sides of the same coin. Both are grounded in storytelling. One speaks through visuals, the other through language. Together, they shape how people connect with an idea, a brand or a purpose.
I’m looking forward to bringing that perspective to HERA and contributing to the work ahead across engineering, sustainability and innovation.
I joined the HERA whānau in 2025!
When I was little I dreamt of being a musician, with music always playing at home. Though I was just as busy sneaking in stray puppies and dreaming of helping animals.
Now, at HERA, I lead our marketing and communications with a focus on elevating the voice of the metals industry in Aotearoa. From overseeing campaigns and managing digital channels to crafting strategic content and storytelling, I help translate technical research into engaging narratives. I work closely with our research teams to ensure the work we do resonates beyond the lab — with industry, policymakers, and the wider public.
Outside of work music, food, and time in nature bring me the most joy. Being outdoors is my reset button — it’s where I feel grounded and inspired. I once did a course on sustainable building out of curiosity (and passion), and have dabbled in permaculture over the years just for the love of it. Before moving to New Zealand, I lived off-grid on a property shared with wild elephants — one of the more unforgettable chapters of my life. These days, I’m usually on the hunt for hidden food spots or chasing little adventures, one story at a time.
For the future, i’m drawn to a life that balances meaningful, purpose-driven work — like what I do at HERA — with a slower, more intentional way of living. One day, I’d love to live somewhere surrounded by nature, growing my own food and building a lifestyle that reflects the same values I bring to my work: sustainability, creativity, and connection.
