Resource: HERA R4-159, understanding structures as steel banks

HERA is pleased to announce the publication of HERA Report R4-159 – Common language in structures as steel banks

The HERA “Structures as Steel Banks (SASB)” project has identified the need to define the “common language” used in steel construction. There is a risk of misunderstanding key concepts and impeding clear communication in an interdisciplinary grouping where each expert is accustomed to using their own terminology. Therefore, the common language used in the literature was reviewed and refined to reflect steel construction and the NZ practice herein.

The report is FREE to HERA members and only $10 for non-members. Please click here to get your copy.
