As the Head of Product Applications & Development, I am responsible for the pipeline of product development, applications and solutions for New Zealand Steel.

As a materials engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in the steel industry across both Australia and New Zealand, I’ve been exposed to a wide range of steel products and their applications ranging from hot rolled and plate, to metal coated and pre-painted. You could say I’m a jack of many steel trades!

Having been involved in the development of beautiful pre-painted metal finishes and the manufacture of weathering steel locally here in New Zealand, I recognise that collaboration and ingenuity are the key to creating smarter metal solutions. As the country’s leading steel making company we are ideally placed to work closely with the domestic fabrication and construction industry on innovative steel applications that are functional, aesthetic or even both!
