When I was young, my father tells me he always knew I was going to be an Engineer.
He came home from work one day to find his shiny new stereo dismantled into a thousand pieces. I was 8 years old and desperate to find out how it worked.
By day, I’m a cheerleader and conductor. I lead a team of exceptionally smart and dedicated staff, many of whom are industry experts in their respective fields.
My purpose is to ensure that they love their role and are motivated to be at their best. In short, I don’t need to be able to play an instrument, but I do need to be able to read the music.
By night, I am usually to be found trying to run up and down Mt Eden.
For the future, my goal is to prove that experience and reinvention aren’t mutually exclusive. Lead like a veteran, think like a rookie!
