From LEGO bricks to algorithms – I’ve always loved building things.

Did you know…

I’m based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland

I report in to Michail Karpenko

I’m all about using tech to make a real impact, especially in sustainability.

Right now, I’m starting my Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Auckland after studying Maths and Software Engineering for my undergrad and completing my Honours in CS. My research focuses on high-performance data algorithms and their real-world applications.

I’m working with HERA on a project to develop a sustainable steel component library, making it easier for architects and engineers to select eco-friendly, recycled, and locally sourced materials when designing buildings. Small choices add up, and better tools can help push the industry towards the goals of Construction 4.0

I believe that learning new things makes life more interesting and my skills more adaptable. I like keeping things varied, whether it’s improving my French, getting lost in a good book, playing tennis, or messing around on my guitar.

In the long term, I want to take my skills beyond New Zealand and build a career in Europe, drawn by its rich history, beautiful cities, and diverse opportunities.
