Already hold the HERA Welding Inspector Level 1? Here’s how to transition.
Holders of the HERA Welding Inspector Level 1 qualification may be eligible to transition to the AS/NZS 2214.1 Welding Inspector (WI) certificate, subject to meeting the following requirements:
- The applicant has remained continuously employed within the welding and fabrication industry; and
- The applicant’s welding inspection track record has been verified by the Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC), or by the client in cases where the applicant is self-employed.
Applicants are required to complete the application form provided below. All applications are subject to review and approval by HERA.
